The Queensland Rugby League has teamed up with SEN to launch a brand-new radio program, Grassroots to Glory - a weekly celebration of Queensland’s rugby league heartland.
Airing every Friday at 12:00pm on SENQ 693AM and via the SEN app, Grassroots to Glory is hosted by respected Brisbane sports presenter Ben Davis and promises to take listeners on a journey through every level of the game - from Under 6s through to the elite State of Origin arena.
Importantly for our Club and the wider rugby league community, the program will regularly shine the spotlight on the Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership, providing valuable exposure for the players, coaches and clubs driving Queensland’s leading men’s and women’s competitions.
The Western Clydesdales are proud to support this initiative and encourage our players and coaches to take part when approached by SEN producers. Interviews will generally be conducted by phone unless otherwise arranged and the QRL will share media clips for use across our social channels whenever Clydesdales talent is featured.
From junior stars with big dreams to seasoned community legends and emerging Origin hopefuls, Grassroots to Glory will share the stories that define our game.
You can listen live Fridays at midday on SENQ 693AM or catch up anytime via Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or your preferred platform.
Let’s get behind this exciting platform that celebrates the incredible work being done across Queensland rugby league and keep an ear out for some familiar Clydesdales voices!
